Hunting for spring fun? There's some great Easter treats this week!

 

Great Lakes Children's Museum Spring Break Egg-Stravaganza

Friday, March 25, 11am

Visit hands-on science stations and learn how a baby chick fits inside that tiny egg, and the difference between a raw or hard boiled egg without cracking the shell! Good Friday Family Event with the Salvation Army

Friday, March 25, 4-7pm, Salvation Army Community Center, Barlow St, TC

This is a free event for children and their families. There will be craft stations for children, and adults, plus the young ones will enjoy the antics of Eddie and friends, the kids clown evangelists. The evening ends with an Easter Egg hunt, and the first 150 children will receive an easter basket. Hot dogs and refreshments will also be served.

 

Trains & Things" at Raven Hill Discovery Center

Saturday, March 28th through Wednesday, April 20th. 

This exhibit invites visitors to explore railroad memorabilia and get involved with some engineering challenges. The hands-on museum and animals will also be open for visitors to explore and the outdoor exhibits will be open.  General admission is $10 per person.

 

"The Big Short" at the Carnegie Building

Wednesday March 23, and Friday March 25th, 7:30pm

When four outsiders saw what the big banks, media and government refused to, the global collapse of the economy, they had an idea: The Big Short. Their bold investment leads them into the dark underbelly of modern banking where they must question everyone and everything.
