Come to the Village of Bay Harbor at 8pm for the Petoskey Steel Drum Band then stay for beautiful fireworks over Little Traverse Bay at dusk.

One of the best all day events Up North. July 3rd includes the craft show and activities for the kids. July 4th starts with the Independence Run at 7:30am, food, kids activities, parade at 10am, live music, duck race, soapbox derby and fireworks over Lake Charlevoix at 10:30. Cadillac Freedom Festival
June 29-July 1
Food, fun, kids events, carnival, parade on June 30th at 10am, Pork in the Park Barb-B-Que competition on July 1st with tasting at 1pm and judging at 6pm, and fireworks over Lake Cadillac at dusk.

Central Lake
July 4th
Parade at noon , fireworks at dusk.

Cheboygan
July 4th
Parade begins at 10am through downtown. Fireworks at the fairgrounds begin at dusk.

East Jordan Freedom Festival
June 27 – July 1
The festival features a “home-town” old-fashioned Friday Night Block Party with food, music and games for all ages, a Youth Parade, Grand Parade, Kids/Teen Night, Carnival, a multitude of entertainers and musicians, food booths and a spectacular fireworks display shot from a barge on the beautiful South Arm of Lake Charlevoix on Saturday evening at dusk. This year’s featured entertainment on the main stage in Memorial Park prior to the fireworks is East Jordan’s own “Full Circle with special guest drummer, Joe Trojanek.

Grayling
July 4th
Parade at 11am, Fireworks over the Grayling Country Club starting at dusk.

Harbor Springs
Kick off the weekend with Red, White and Brew on the waterfront, Saturday from 4-8pm. Come down for beer, wine, and a good time! Mike and Jeff from The Remedee Band will be the live entertainment and food will be available from BC Pizza. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and include two drink tickets. Additional drink tickets are $5
July 4th kicks off with the Paul Revere Run at 8am, art fair in the park, parade at 1pm and fireworks over the bay at dusk.

Indian River
Fireworks over Burt Lake at DeVoe Beach on Tuesday, July 3rd at dusk. Parade on Friday, July 6th at noon.

Johannesburg Festival and Fireworks
July 4th
Fireworks display follows a day full of fun! Parade at 11:00am which begins at high school. Old fashioned games all day. No entry fee. Uncle Sams souvenier booth and concession stand. Come join the fun! Games and activities held at the Charlton Township Park behind the Township Hall.

Leeland
July 3rd and 4th
Celebrate in Leeland with two days of fun including July 3rd patriotic sing along at 8pm with fireworks at dusk at Hancock Field and Park. On July 4th, decorate your bike and concerts on the lawn at 1pm at the Old Art Building, parade at 3pm on Main Street and GT Pipes and Drum Corp, 5pm on the Village Green. Mackinaw City
A day of 4th of July fun with Marina Games at 1:30, 9:00pm – Straits Area Concert Band to perform at Conkling Heritage Park and at dusk – the largest spectacular fireworks display in Northern Michigan. Mackinac Island
July 4th
Start with an All American Picnic at the Fort, Checkered red and white tablecloths spread on the grass of Fort Mackinac’s parade grounds create a patchwork quilt welcoming hungry patriots with Grand Hotel’s all-you-can-eat tangy BBQ baby back ribs, grilled chicken breasts, hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey burgers, corn on the cob, and a slew of salads, fixings and desserts.
Fireworks begin at dusk! Grab a spot on the West side of the Island, near the west side boardwalk, Windermere Point or Mackinac Island Public School. Always a festive display!

Parade at 6 pm, entertainment at the waterfront 7 pm to 10 pm, fireworks at 10 pm (approximately).

Shanty Creek
July 3rd
Shanty Creek Freedom Festival – at Summit Village (Shanty) – 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with kids games, activities, bounce house, water slide, live music, lawn games, disc golf, swimming pool, face painting, bonfire, and fireworks at dusk. Admission is free; nominal fee for some of the activities. No coolers, no dogs.

Torch Lake

July 4th
